The Supreme Court building is located on 1st and east capitol street in Washington D.C. In 1929 Chief of Justice William Howard Taft authorized the construction of the supreme court building, being that they had no permanent building of operation before 1935 in which it was completed. The Supreme Court is built with a classic corinthian architech style with different marble materials used for the interior design. On mondays through fridays you can take a tour to visit exhibits on thier main level from 9:00am to 4:30pm. Lectures are also provided on the main level every hour from 9:00am to 3:30pm.
